Every project starts with a technical read of the source: resolution, interlace, compression, motion, flicker, noise, and whether upscale will help or hurt.
Defect cleanup
Dust, flicker, noisy frames, compression blocks, brightness jumps, and unstable grain are handled shot by shot.
Deinterlace and motion repair
Interlaced footage is rebuilt into progressive frames before detail recovery and upscale.
Detail recovery
Controlled sharpening and temporal reconstruction improve faces, clothes, architecture, and foreground texture.
AI upscale
We choose Full HD, 2K, or 4K based on the source. Old SD often looks best at a careful 1920x1080 master.
Master delivery
Delivery can include MP4 for sharing, ProRes for editing, or TIFF image sequences for advanced finishing.
Upscale policy
We do not force 4K when the footage says no.
Some SD tapes fall apart when pushed too far: grass, water, hair, faces in the background, and fast motion can become synthetic. FrameRevive sells the best-looking master, not the largest number on a file label.
